What is covered in the programmes?Please download our NewZeal teams brochure from the Homepage. This outlines the main outcomes and inclusions based on your preferred program.

What is the duration of a program?Our Guided Success programs are usually between 1 & 2 days. Our Corporate Incentives are also on average between 1 & 2 day. Our retreats are the same. However, all of our programs can be tailored for longer timeframes and our bespoke offerings can be any length.

Who facilitates and leads the program?Paul Nicholson and a team of specialised activity instructors.

Can I complete the program with a friend or support person?Yes absolutely, we encourage you to have a support person, this can assist you in following through with action plans and ongoing learning and development.

How do the Guided Success programs work?We have split the Guided Success programs into two components- The Guided Success Talks & Workshops, which are one or two day offerings that can be made anywhere, including our River's Edge property. And, the Guided Success retreats which take place in Wanaka, at our “Rivers Edge” venue. Accommodation is in twin share glamping tipis (single share available). All bedding, towels and meals are included. We also run retreats in South Fiordland with accommodation in a rustic but extremely comfortable wilderness lodge on the South Coast. The programs include discussions, presentations and experiential activities which take place at the venue, as well as adventure challenges based in and around Mt Aspiring National Park and Fiordland National Park. These are highly immersive experience designed to challenge your expectations, limits, paradigms and awareness of self, create opportunities for insight and clarity.

How fit/ active do I need to be for an expedition component?To take part in an expedition as a minimum you will need to be able to carry a 13 – 15 kg pack for up to 4-hrs walking. A training and exercise plan can be discussed during the orientation to help prepare you for the expedition.

How fit do I need to be for the Guided Success Retreat?No experience or fitness level is required for Guided Success Retreats. We will work with you and your team to make sure you get the best out of the experience, whatever your fitness, ability and experience levels. The river rafting component is 100% voluntary; it takes place on a grade-2 easy river, and there are options for those who may be unable to paddle.

What specialised clothing do I need?For most activities, we will be able to fit you and your team out with full kit. Gear will be discussed before any program commences, and a list will be sent where necessary.

What specialised equipment do I need?You don't need anything special, you will be kitted out with whatever is required. However, sturdy, flat shoes are a must, and it is always advised that you come prepared for any weather condition. For most expeditions and rafting elements, you will be sent a packing list ahead of the event.
